This is a set of reinforced drag discs, including one drive gear disc (large diameter) and one ratchet side disc (small diameter). The Force Master 200 is compact and equipped with the same MUTEKI motor as the higher-end 600 model. However, because it was developed for light fishing, it had the disadvantage of the drag slipping when jerking with a high-load hairtail tenya, preventing sharp hooksets. In response to requests to create reinforced drag discs to make it usable for hairtail fishing, we have prepared a limited quantity this time. *We do not offer installation services.* *We are not responsible for any malfunctions or defects in the electric reel body caused by the installation of the reinforced drag discs. Please install at your own risk.* *To install, remove the handle assembly and open the gear-side body with five screws to access the gears. Clean the drag disc mounting area of the drive gear and the ratchet gear with parts cleaner, and then replace the original drag discs.* *Do not apply grease to the drag discs during installation. They are a dry type.* *Drag discs are consumables.* In field tests, even with the original product, the drag would slip when strongly jerking with a 40-gou tenya load, even when the star drag handle was tightened 100%. However, after replacing with the reinforced drag discs, slippage did not occur even with a 50-gou tenya load when tightened only 60% to 70% of the original drag. Moreover, the ideal drag feeling allows the line to come out nicely when a fish runs. For users who find the Force Master 600 or Seaborg 200 class electric reels too large and heavy for the Hairtail King Battle or shared boats, but still want to use the Force Master 200, but are dissatisfied with the drag slipping during hooksets or jerking, we recommend replacing with these reinforced drag discs.
