The era is unknown, but when I bought it, I was told that there are no people who do such detailed work anymore. It's made of square-shaped beads, approximately 1mm x 3mm, with holes in the middle, connected together. STERLING indicates silver with a 92.5% silver content. There is a signature that appears to be the artist's (see image 3), but it's difficult to read. It looks great on bare skin or over clothes!
