Thank you for viewing. This is a genuine Mukimono knife. The blade had a chip, which has been repaired, making the blade narrower, but it should still be usable. When I had it sharpened by a professional, the maker's mark was removed during surface polishing. The steel type is unknown, but it is steel and therefore prone to rust, so please be careful when handling it.
