LEVIS 80s 501 Black Kan (Black Bar Tack) These are 501s from 1982. A valuable gold thread side seam model, which was changed shortly after the discontinuation of selvedge (red ear). The red ear changed in 1983, and the side seam model was introduced as soon as the stock ran out, so the transition period lasted until around 1986. Among them, the early gold thread side seam models are rarer than the red ear ones, and are valuable. This model is the earliest version with a stamped 501 paper patch, black bar tack, and single-stitched inseam.
