Founded in 1851 as the movement company "Girard & Schild," which later became the company name. This particular watch is an Eterna vintage automatic model, the "Eterna Matic." Eterna was a manufacturer and, at the time, was a luxury Swiss maison on par with Longines and Omega. It started as a movement manufacturing company, and its technical capabilities and production capacity were outstanding. To make the rotor of the automatic movement operate more smoothly, they were the first in the world to incorporate ball bearings inside the rotor winding rotor, announcing the "Eterna Matic," a luxury watchmaker that attracted worldwide attention, and later became the famous "ETA." The silver original dial with Arabic numeral indexes has a beautiful and refined design. ● The dial, indexes, and crystal are approximately 60 years old, so there are some minor scratches, but it is in very good condition for a vintage watch of this era. The case has slight scratches from storage, but there is no significant damage. The leather belt is new, made by BEAR. Please check the photos.
