It's quite rusty. The surface is white. Purchase date unknown. It came from my grandmother's house. To calm the rust inside, I boiled it three times with green tea leaves and used it myself for about two months every day. It seems to have been successfully coated with tannin iron, and the inside is black. The hot water was the same as the water boiled in other iron kettles. (Color, taste, impurities ← a very small amount of peeled tannin iron will mix in) I think it is not compatible with IH. I used it over a direct flame. It's the size of a teapot, but it's the type without inner coating. How about it for iron supplementation? I have others, and they will rust if I don't use them, so I'm putting this one up for sale.
