Year and details unknown. It's incredibly light!! Because the top has a gentle arch, I think it might be for a small archtop guitar, but I don't know the details. It came with a vintage Gibson L-1 (made in 1919) I purchased before. The construction is similar, but it's not a Gibson original. I've kept it carefully until now, but it seems I won't be using it, so I hope to pass it on to the next person. As shown in the last photo, a Gibson L-3 fits inside. (L-1 and L-00 have been confirmed to fit) The latch on the handle doesn't close. The metal hardware moves, but the lock doesn't work. Otherwise, it's in good condition. There are peeling stickers and tears, but there's no damage to the handle or inner lid, and the parts are original, which I think is not bad considering it's an antique item.
