This is a set of a handmade kaishi (paper for tea ceremony) case and a kashikiri (sweet-cutting knife) case. It can hold one book of kaishi for men. The kaishi case has two pockets, which are convenient for storing used kaishi or small items. The top lid does not have interfacing to preserve the texture of the fabric. Enjoy the texture of the roughly hand-printed fabric. The plain part is made firm by using a thick twill fabric with thin interfacing. The fabric has been hand-washed before being made.
