This is a genuine Hakata-ori men's obi (sash) stored at my parents' home. This is a special, separately woven item, characterized by its firm weave and the ease of tying that is unique to Hakata-ori. The calm navy color allows it to be worn with any kimono. It comes with a wooden box, and the storage condition is good. There are no noticeable stains or damage, but there is a slight fraying when unfolded, as shown in the photos. (Please understand that this is a long-term storage item, so there may be slight aging and odors associated with storage.)
