After using the wax, the containers have been scrubbed with a sponge. I don't see any wax residue, but please wash them again yourself if you are concerned. I usually throw these away, but perhaps they could be used for school projects, DIY, crafts, refilling hair products for travel, or as small item containers. This wax sells for around 600-700 yen per container. There are two sizes, large and small, and this is the larger size. It takes about a month to use up one container.
