Bruno Fulcini is a violin maker from Piacenza, Italy. After graduating from the Cremona International School of Violin Making, he honed his skills under master craftsmen such as Gio Batta Morassi, Simeone Morassi, and Nicola Lazzari. He won a bronze medal at the 2015 Slovak International Violin Competition and was also a prize winner at the 2017 Malta International Violin Making Competition. Fulcini's instruments reflect his unique aesthetic while adhering to the traditional Cremonese techniques. They are characterized by a reddish-orange Cremona varnish and meticulous detailing, and are highly regarded for their rich sound with a balanced tone from low to high registers. He has a strong interest in the sound production of instruments and is currently striving to achieve the sound of Gio Batta Morassi in his daily work. By carefully adjusting and shaping the bulge near the upper part of the f-holes on the soundboard, he has succeeded in releasing sound without any loss across all registers, from low to high. In 2024, he had the opportunity to see and touch valuable masterpieces by Italian grand masters, which is rare nowadays.
