Adjusted, fully functional. Good airtightness. Piston work is smooth. All slides are smooth. Rust was present, but has been polished off as much as possible. No coating applied. There are some minor dents, but they are not very noticeable. Please check the photos for solder marks on the braces and elsewhere. There is a slight bend in the U-shaped tube of the bell. Please check the last photo. The mouthpiece pipe has been shortened by about 1.5cm to achieve a sound closer to a flugelhorn. To accommodate a flugelhorn mouthpiece, the pitch has been adjusted to match. That's what customization is all about. Let's call it a "Flugelnet"? Yamaha cornets offer a wonderful playing experience. Intonation and sound quality are not an issue. The flugelhorn mouthpiece only inserts about 1cm into the receiver, but there is no wobble. It produces a soft sound similar to a flugelhorn. Of course, since it's a cornet shank, you can also use a cornet mouthpiece. Included accessories: Mouthpiece XO 11 AX, a slightly shallow, responsive mouthpiece. Mouthpiece case.
