The stripes aren't different colors, but rather stripes with different sheens, so it looks like a single navy color from a distance. The fabric is a blend of polyester and cotton and has good stretch. The gathers at the chest accentuate the beauty of the line. I bought it about 3 years ago and wore it 2-3 times a month. It was a three-quarter sleeve for me, as I have short arms, but I think it would be a five- to eight-sleeve for someone else.
