This is a flat mini pouch, about the size of a small pocket, using a 14cm zipper. It has a moderate thickness and is sturdy because a flexible interlining and adhesive quilt batting are sandwiched in between. The inner fabric is a natural, flecked cotton-linen canvas. The material is Liberty's Tana Lawn fabric. The print fabric, with a traditional botanical pattern, incorporates modern elements and is drawn with a fantastic touch. The bouquet of roses drawn with a pen is taken from a Liberty print from the early 1980s, and is incorporated into the texture of abstract washes and expressive paint marks. It's compact, so it fits easily into a small bag. It's a pouch that can be used as a hair pin holder, a small accessory case, a card holder, or even a coin purse.
