My original one-character seal, "Tsubomi" (bud), in vermilion script. This is a seal for women, used to seal envelopes. It's pressed onto the glued flap of an envelope. It's used to signify "like a bud," meaning the letter hasn't been opened yet. The seal is carved from a stone material. The size is approximately 12x12mm for the impression, and the height is about 40mm.
