Mamma Ro Italy Red Handmade by Italian artisans who bring individuality to each piece of pottery, this is a charming soup bowl from Mamma Ro. It has a glossy Rosso Mattone (fire brick red) color and a lovely form. It appears to be made of red clay and has a substantial weight. Although it is new and unused, it is a vintage item that I collected about 40 years ago because I was drawn to this tableware. Due to the handmade nature of the product, each piece has different handles, shapes, and markings. One of the bowls has about 5 small areas where the glaze is missing. I believe this was from the beginning, and I have included photos of the last three images. Please check them. It will brighten up your table or kitchen. I purchased this item from an imported tableware store about 40 years ago and have kept it stored away without using it. It is a new, unused vintage item. I have a complete set of this series.
