This is the box that a high-quality fukuro obi (formal obi) came in. I think it's probably a paulownia wood box (sorry if I'm wrong). The box was in my grandmother's closet with the obi inside. The obi has all been sold, so this is just the box. There are three boxes in the set. The size is roughly the same for all three, but one is slightly thicker. Overall, there is a feeling of use, and there are some black stains characteristic of paulownia wood. Please check the photos. Also, the inside of one box is yellowed. (Photos 6 and 7) It's unclear whether this is discoloration from insect repellent or a natural change in the wood. Some of the lids have traces of cellophane tape.
