New Year's osechi (layered food boxes), ceramic. 14 cm square Depth: Approximately 4 cm Overall height: Approximately 25 cm This is a jubako (layered food box) that my family has used for New Year's for many years. It's been around for over 70 years. It's a treasured jubako that was around before I was born, and I've taken good care of it, but I don't seem to have the opportunity to use it anymore. I can't bear to throw it away, so I'm hoping someone will purchase it and continue to cherish it. The last two images show some gold leaf flaking. As it's an old item, I'm sure there are other small scratches, etc., but I think it's not in bad condition considering its age.
