This silk han'eri (collar) features an auspicious kikko-giku (tortoise shell and chrysanthemum) pattern and a crane pattern that shimmer in the light. It was made from a long undergarment of a bride's kimono that was taken apart and washed. There is a faint, light-colored abrasion on the back, but it is barely noticeable on the front and will not be a problem once sewn on. It will not cause any issues. It can be used as a han'eri or as a kasane-eri (layered collar).
