The 1st color, Black/Silver, was released in February 1990 and adorned Jordan's feet, who was active in the "NBA ALLSTAR GAME." The design is by Tinker Hatfield. He overlapped Jordan's playing style with the combat scenes of the fighter plane "P-51 (Mustang Fireplane)" from World War II and incorporated it into the design. The shark teeth-like design on the midsole is inspired by the P-51. At the time, it was assumed that the tongue would be worn inside out, and the "AIR JORDAN" notation on the back of the tongue is upside down. Purchase date: August 2020 on SNKRDUNK
