It's a heavy and substantial plate, about 1 cm thick. Please make your judgment based on the back stamp and design. About 30 years ago, a friend opened a Shigaraki-yaki shop. I bought various items to support them, but I don't have many opportunities to use them, so I'm gradually putting them up for sale. I was fascinated by white tableware and bought many pieces. I received a light brown bookmark from Nobuo Furuya, but I lost it. I purchased this for home use, so there is no box. Please purchase only if you can agree with the images. Returns are not accepted. The rustic simplicity of Shigaraki-yaki, the warm white of the powdered slip glaze, and the iron spots (black spots of iron) add character.
