There is some fraying between the thumb and index finger of the right hand due to the cradle, but there are no particular problems with use. There are no frays or the like on the palm fabric. The blackening is from using a steel shaft. After use, it was washed twice in a laundry net. Therefore, there is no particular odor. If you have any concerns, please comment.
