The production volume is only about 80 koku (a unit of volume). They carefully brew only the amount they can manage with three people. Naturally, the amount shipped is extremely small. Even in Okinawa Prefecture, where it's made, it's truly a hidden gem. The current Kokka, even with the same label, is Ryukyu Awamori with 43% and 30% ABV being common, so this authentic Awamori Kokka 25% ABV is believed to be a limited edition from Tsukayama Shuzo. ● The oldest Kokka is said to have been manufactured in 1993. This Kokka on offer is authentic Awamori and has no barcode, so it is estimated to be from before 1995. Therefore, it would have been manufactured in 1993 or 1994. Although it doesn't have a Monde Selection seal (it didn't have one when I acquired it), the age is around the same time, and it is presumed to be a comparable item (personally). ※ The "Kokka 93 Limited Edition" manufactured in 1993, with a manufacturing number on each bottle and a Monde Selection seal, seems to be traded at a considerably high price. ※ It's just a shame that it doesn't have a Monde Selection seal.
