This is an old but truly magnificent piece of "fish motif" maki-e lacquerware. As you can see, it's a stunning piece. The maki-e is beautiful. It's a set of five stacked plates. There are no noticeable scratches or damage. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a box. The exquisite craftsmanship is outstanding. Shells are depicted on the reverse side. The size is between 12cm and 18cm in diameter.
