Military figures are adult figures for ages 15 and up. They can realistically recreate special forces and soldiers from movies and FPS games. American GI Joe is famous, and the main size is 1/6 or 12 inches. There are slight size differences depending on the manufacturer, but weapons, combat uniforms, helmets, and equipment are generally compatible (some may require modification to attach). In Japan, there are almost no stores that carry these figures in Akihabara, and online purchases are the main way to acquire them. The highest quality figures can reach a level that is indistinguishable from a human.
