It features an elegant design with a blue base and classical botanical arabesques and geometric patterns on the rim. The size is approximately 24.5 x 4 cm, a deep plate (soup plate) type, suitable for both practical use and display. The Creil kiln was founded at the end of the 18th century and merged with Montereau in the early 19th century, becoming known as "Creil et Montereau," a leading French pottery brand. From the 19th to the early 20th century, it produced many high-quality faïence fine. On the back, you can see the "COLBERT" mark along with the kiln mark from the Creil et Montereau era. As this is an antique item, there are crazing (crack patterns), chips, and discoloration due to aging, but please enjoy them as the unique charm of antiques.
