These are battery-powered LED bonbori (paper lanterns) for Hina dolls, featuring black pillars. These are individual lights placed on either side of the Emperor and Empress dolls used during the Doll Festival (Hinamatsuri). They have a stylish design and don't take up much space. Size: Top, lantern part Width 10.5cm, Height 18cm Bottom, black pillar part Height 26cm Overall size: Width 10.5cm, Depth 10.5cm, Height 29cm Although these bonbori are sized for smaller dolls, they can likely be used for other purposes besides Hina dolls. The included batteries are for testing purposes. There are two in a set, one for each side. Two identical bonbori are included. They can be disassembled into top and bottom parts for storage in the box. The box is not in perfect condition, but it is still usable. (These have been stored for a long time, so the contents are in good condition, but the box is not.) The items themselves have not been used and are considered dead stock.
