It's not a problem if you keep the Velcro attached, but it may stick easily if you open and close it frequently. The fabric is slightly thicker than normal, but the outer side is a stiff fabric that seems to have windproof performance. The inside is brushed fleece. The mouth area has about two layers of mesh, and there's space inside to put something like a mask.
