This is a model known as the American type. Yamaha, a comprehensive musical instrument brand boasting a wide range of products, currently only manufactures short models, and long cornets are no longer produced. Compared to short cornets, which have many bends in the tubing and a soft, characteristic cornet tone, long cornets have fewer bends and offer a tone closer to that of a trumpet, with more brilliance. Therefore, they are often used by jazz trumpeters as a secondary instrument, and they are characterized by a different sound character than a trumpet. B♭ key, L bore, red brass bell, lacquer finish. The red brass material, often called "red bell," has a high copper content, and the bell diameter is 131mm (actual measurement), larger than a trumpet, making it an Imperial model with a focus on tone. There is no severe damage such as lacquer peeling or dents, and the inside of the tubing is very clean.
