Product Introduction and Condition This is a near-mint pair of momohiki (Japanese work pants) from the early Showa era, having been stored for a long time. They are made of sturdy, hand-stitched indigo-dyed cotton fabric and are an original, untouched item from an old storehouse. The hems are not straight but curve to follow the ankles. The vulnerable area behind the knees is reinforced with extra fabric. The maedare (apron) and haragake (belly protector) are also original, untouched items from the old storehouse, and are very well-made. The color is almost black, darker than indigo.
