Purchased at a foreign currency shop in Moscow during the early Showa 40s (late 1960s), when it was still the Soviet Union. It has been kept at home unused ever since. This is a rare pendant top of insect-included amber with a simple design from the Soviet era. Insect-included amber (also known as plant-included amber) is now valued as a precious accessory. The metal base is stamped with a Russian inscription, which is probably the name of the amber workshop. Size: Amber 2.5 cm x 3 cm
