When it was released, it was popular because it was said to have eight chips used in high-end DACs that cost around 300,000 yen. I think it was evaluated as having the best sound quality. It has a rich selection of digital terminals, and many people use it as a DAC (inputting digitally into this unit and outputting via standard RCA) rather than as an MD player. The MD is malfunctioning. The MD either won't play, or it skips and stops even if it does play. It might be fixable with an MD cleaner (I haven't tried it because I don't have one), but it may need repair, so please purchase it on the assumption that the MD is unusable. The gold body and wooden handle are distinctive features, and the high-class design is attractive. It comes with a rare remote control. Due to the MD malfunction, I have marked it as having scratches and dirt. Please check the condition of the exterior in the photos. Thank you for your consideration.
