This is a commemorative fan ("Kotobuki Sensu") of the Urasenke school, by the 15th Grand Master, Hounsai, of the Urasenke Konnichi-an, the late Soshitsu Sen, who passed away last year. The inscription reads "Wake Hounen Teicho hitsu" (Harmony, Abundant Year, written in the year of the Ox). I acquired this for use in tea ceremony practice, but I am offering it for sale as I will not have the opportunity to use it. No box included. It is in beautiful condition, with no folds or tears.
