I bought this for my daughter who was moving into her own apartment. Her one-room apartment had an IH stove, so I bought this. It's good for making meals for one person, but it was too small for my daughter. She ended up buying a larger pot, and she only used this set about 2-3 times. There are some scratches, but there are no scorch marks. These pots have a beautiful, shiny stainless steel finish.
