The "Béarn" series from the HBCM kiln, which originated in the 1920s, is considered the originator of Basque pattern pottery and is still loved by many collectors. It is in good condition for an antique item. There are some cutlery scratches, stains, some crazing, a line on the edge, and a chip on the back of the edge (not visible from the front), but it is generally in beautiful condition. I believe it was manufactured at the beginning of the Béarn series. It is a beautiful, aged, and very rare and tasteful piece.
