This tablet-sized cajon (smartphone size) is a completely handmade original! The material of the playing surface is black wood grain resin. The sound source is a small copper nail inside the cajon. The sound is like a super high-pitched snare drum. (♪Shaka Shaka♪) This cajon is used by placing it on a flat, level surface such as a desk. A 1 cm high sponge is attached to each of the four corners of the bottom of the cajon. The sound resonates using these cushions. There is no sound hole. When you hit one of the four corners, the corner of the cajon indirectly contacts the desk, producing a slightly lower sound. Hitting the middle of the cajon produces a higher sound. Although the playing surface is small, it produces a surprisingly loud sound. By changing the place and strength of the strike, you can create the rhythm you want.
