Hana Chiyo-gami Pattern Notebook A5 The cover is made of chiyo-gami (patterned paper), and the endpapers are made of Japanese paper with hemp fibers and gold and silver leaf scattered throughout, making it very precious and beautiful. The inner paper has a total of 30 pages, made of 15 sheets of thick, cream-colored bookbinding paper. The paper is very smooth, like silk, and has a smooth feel. It is folded using traditional Japanese bookbinding techniques. The center of the pages is reinforced with a technique called "monk's binding." The spine of the notebook is covered with a cover. I aimed to create it with my own ingenuity, but I am always conscious of Japanese bookbinding techniques. As in this case, the stitching is hidden and not visible on the cover.
