This is a work of art from over 75 years ago. I believe it is a traditional Japanese Musha Ningyo (warrior doll). It was given to the family as a celebration of a birth 75 years ago by relatives. To display it, place the wooden display stand on top of the paulownia wood box containing the armor and helmet. The height when displayed is approximately 30cm. I understand that it was an expensive Musha Ningyo at the time. Insect repellent for dolls was included during storage, so there are no insect bites, but as it is an old item, there may be some deterioration and soiling due to age. The adhesive on the hind legs of the lion on the front decoration of the helmet has come off, but it will not fall off. Everything in the photos is included for the armor and helmet display. The size of the paulownia wood box is approximately 25cm wide, 18cm long, and 15cm high. The size of the wooden box to be included is approximately 33cm wide, 26cm long, and 19cm high.
