Thank you for viewing. This is a dress made from a disassembled and washed Oshima Tsumugi kimono. It features a stand collar and a waistline seam, with a skirt that has tucks for a relaxed fit. It's a pull-over style and is not lined. Reason for the "as-is" condition: There is a seam where the fabric was joined due to a shortage, but a pocket has been placed at that location, so it is not very noticeable (see photo 7). Because of this, it is offered at a lower price, but please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about this. We recommend dry cleaning, but if you choose to home launder, please hand wash gently with a detergent for delicate fabrics. Ironing while slightly damp is easier.
