The plastic part of the power button has deteriorated and is missing, but it still responds if pressed with a fingernail or similar (may require some getting used to). Therefore, the waterproof performance may be compromised. A free-cut film is applied to the screen. I'm not sure about the battery degradation, but I don't think it's degraded much. There will be some degradation commensurate with the age of the product, as it is an older model.
