The Coast Guard also guards and patrols Liberty Island, where the Statue of Liberty stands, at the southern tip of New York. Made of glass, the frame is metal. The flat glass is colored with transparent enamel painting and has an uneven surface. Because it has been fired, the colors will not fade over time. It is a handmade product.
