Perfect for the New Year. This fabric features a pale cream background with a woven seigaiha (wave) pattern. It has cute motifs of plum blossoms, chrysanthemums, autumn leaves, and fans. The fans appear to be shibori (tie-dye), but they are not. I wore it twice indoors for kimono dressing practice. It has been stored in a chest for a long time, so there are very small spots of staining due to the storage, typical of silk, here and there (see photo 10). They are not noticeable, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful item.
