Voigtlander Nokton 50mm F1.1 VM Leica M mount. Released in 2009. This is a limited anniversary lens released to commemorate Cosina's 50th anniversary and Voigtlander's 10th anniversary of revival. Boasting a top-class brightness of F1.1 for a full-frame lens, the only competitor is the Leica Noctilux, which costs over 1 million yen. It is a masterpiece made in Japan that rivals the famous German lenses. As you can see from the lack of "Aspherical" in the lens's description, it uses a double-Gauss configuration with only spherical lenses. To achieve F1.1, it uses ultra-refractive glass lavishly, achieving natural, soft bokeh and practical resolution at open aperture that aspherical lenses cannot. The bokeh is not swirly and depicts beautifully even to the center. The pictorial depiction created by this combination is a unique characteristic. I have prepared some sample photos taken with this lens. I took it to Kabukicho for snapshots. It used to be a difficult place to take snapshots, but with the influx of tourists, such places have decreased. It's an F1.1 lens, but I really like the sense of resolution when I stop down the aperture a little. It is known for its tasteful depiction that incorporates some aberrations rather than sharpness due to its construction, but I think you can assume it's a sufficiently sharp lens from F2.8 onwards. You can attach it to an M-type Leica, or if you attach it to a mirrorless camera with higher sensitivity and image stabilization, you can shoot handheld even in the dark. The large bokeh that slightly emphasizes the outlines is beautiful to the center. It is the perfect lens for night snapshots. The optics are clear with no mold or fogging. The exterior has only slight scratches from use and can be considered a beautiful item. A high-quality Marumi protective filter is included. As the distribution is decreasing, it is a valuable limited lens, especially in overseas markets, for those looking for a good one. Condition: Test shots are good, it is a beautiful item.
