The leaf patterns incorporate auspicious patterns such as Shippo (seven treasures), Kikko (tortoise shell), and Seigaiha (waves), creating a design that layers celebratory feelings. The dyeing was done by Hakuki Sensho, a master craftsman in Kyoto. Founded in the early Showa era, this historic dyeing house has inherited and researched the classical designs of the Edo period, and with "Fuei Ryuko" (unchanging and evolving) as their motto, they have pursued beauty that is suitable for the modern era. It embodies a timeless and certain beauty. "Ro" (silk gauze) is used for the material. The refreshing transparency of the twill weave and the smooth texture are attractive, making it a comfortable piece to wear from mid-summer to early autumn. The sewing is done by hand.
