The lining is made of canvas fabric, making it a sturdy construction. It also comes with a bookmark string (the color of the string varies depending on the product). The Nugoo brand was a tenugui specialty store that was particular about the traditional Chusen dyeing technique. However, it sadly closed down in 2020. Based in Kamakura, they incorporated scenes of Kamakura while vividly expressing traditional Japanese patterns and landscapes using Chusen dyeing.
