I create pieces using naturally dyed, fingering-weight yarn spun by artisans in Nakatsugawa from 100% New Zealand merino wool. The yarn is dyed with natural materials like leaves, branches, fruit peels, and roots, and then I knit or crochet with it. The pieces are primarily knitted in muted orange and dusty red, with accents of gray and yellow. The body of the piece features a knitted-in pattern, making it very warm.
