C0102) ⑳ 1939's German Wehrmacht Panzer Division Skull Ring Vintage, approximately size 18 (Japanese size) This is a skull bone ring worn as a talisman by infantry and tank unit soldiers of the German Wehrmacht Army around 1939 when they were deployed to the Eastern Front. It features a skull, which was often used by the Panzer Division, with crossbones on the sides. These rings were commissioned by each unit from jewelers in Berlin before deployment. This is an item from that time. At the time, these rings served as a talisman on the battlefield, similar to the American challenge coin, and were intended to strengthen the bond of the units that fought together.
