The sole at the toe is starting to peel off a bit, but it should still be usable. The insole has been used a few times and replaced with another, so it's almost new. The sole is firm, making it suitable for rocky areas and rough terrain, and it seems fine for alpine hikes. It was a very easy shoe to walk in, even for hiking on dirt or gravel. I am selling it because I am replacing it with the same shoes.
