This is a celadon vase with a green, embossed floral pattern that appears translucent. It has four handles on the neck. The vase has a soft, rounded shape, giving it a very gentle feel. A similar piece, with the same color, translucency, and pattern, is being sold at an antique shop in Kamakura for 280,000 yen. The piece on sale was slightly larger than this vase, and it's unclear if they were fired during the same period, but the resemblance was so striking that I found myself staring at it.
