Using a special bamboo-derived material (patent pending) and the world's only mold injection molding, we have created a synthetic reed unlike any other artificial reed before. Furthermore, the double processing increases the adhesion to the mouthpiece. We have customers in over 30 countries around the world, mainly in Japan and the West. This Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) model has a special material blended in to create a more resilient tone, and is characterized by a bright tone suitable for JAZZ and POPS. Both sides have been sandblasted. By the way, the name Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) does not mean that Japanese cypress is included, but rather its appearance...
